My buddy wants to upgrade his GPU but with his build being dated, I am not to sure on an reasonable upgrade that won't bottleneck.
CPU: i-5 2550K
RAM: 8GB DDR3-1600
MOBO: ASUS P8Z68-V LX
PSU: EXTREME GEAR 600W (Model: XG-P600)
His CPU is liquid cooled as well. Not sure which model cooler but its about a 4 year old CyberPower PC.
He has a $300 budget.
Thoughts on a solid GPU or even a GPU+PSU?
