Hey everyone, got a new GPU so I've decided to upgrade my power supply and I want to make sure it's essentially 'future-proof' so I can upgrade in the future. I don't plan on running SLI or any Titans or anything of the sort, but it should be strong enough to run Nvidia's next gen flagship. What should I be aiming for here? 600w? 700?

Thanks.

I went looking for a lower powered (550W) one, because you usually get a good one for $50... but then found this which is a much better deal:

750W EVGA B2 which is a solid quality (Tier 2), semi modular with 62A on 12V rail. It should comfortably handle any single GPU on the market for the foreseeable, and will support some SLI configs, depending on the rest of your rig and how much OCIng you want to do.

Here is a simple rule you can use. Just anticipate the card you might be interested in buying in the near future and make sure the PSU you end up getting is strong enough to handle an SLI or Crossfire configuration for that card in the event you decide on getting a second card.
