my SSD (with OS) stopped working suddenly without any warnings. I shut down my computer normally before going to work, and then after work it did not start again. No warning or nothing, just a black screen with blinking underline character. I went to bios, and the SSD was missing from the boot order. Everything else shows up as it should, HDD, DVD-drive etc. I then tried other SATA-ports on the motherboard, and also tried another SATA cable with no effects. From other threads I noticed that sometimes bootmanager seems to be the problem in somewhat similar cases, so I tried diskpart with windows 7 installation disk, and it did not list the SSD either. I'll have a chance to test it on another desktop tomorrow, and if it does not show up there, Is there anything else I could test before sending it back? It still has 2½ years of warranty left.
