How to handle drivers when switching from AMD Radeon to Nvidia?

As title, I may want to replace my current GPU with a new one from Nvidia. I worry that left-over driver files from my old installation may cause issues with the new display drivers for the new card?

Uninstalling the old drivers should be fine.
If you really worried you may use Display Driver Uninstaller or reinstall your OS.

First uninstall the old driver. Then uninstall the gpu. Then install the new gpu and then the new driver. If you maintain this you will be free from some troubles
