Hi there,

In my current rig, I have got 2x4GB Mushkin Redline Enhanced ram. I want to install another 2x8GB Kingston HyperX Fury rams.

Current Pair Config (2x4GB):
Speed: DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900)
Cas Latency: 9
Timing: 9-10-9-27
Voltage 1.5 V

Addition Pair Config (2x8GB):
Speed DDR3 1866 (PC3)
Cas Latency: 10
Timing: 10-11-10

This would be the resulting setup:

8GB
4GB
8GB
4GB

So they will run in Dual channel. Giving me a total of 24GB.
My Motherboard: Asus Z87-A (Can support upto 32GB- 8 in each)

Any help appreciated, Thanks!

Solution
First, never a good idea to mix DRAM sets, no guarantees they will play together, even two sets of the same exact model. Here you would be trying to mix different models, different sizes, prob different timings and the Mushkin are made to use XMP while the Fury use PnP, two different approaches, I wouldn't try it. Get a set of the full amount of DRAM you want and sell the old or put them in another rig
