We changed out our old modem/router for this new one,the Arrist Touchestone Docsis TG862G,it's been kind of messing up,but I realized that the reason is because I had to plugged into a splitter,instead of directly to the wall outlet. Everything works great now,SpeedTest says I have 22MB download,and 12 ping. Buuut,whenever I play online games,every few seconds it completely stops. Every other player is running in place,I can't move either. This is the only issue I seem to have. I do not have it plugged directly to the computer,but in the room right next to me. It should still have a good connection,because my speeds are blazing fast,and my online ping is still decent,under 100 most of the time.
Does anyone know how I can fix this? I don't think I can hook it up directly to my computer without a splitter,which I don't want to do.
