System crash while gaming: Overheat or PSU problem?

In February I bought a gaming PC with the following specs:

  • * AMD FX 6300 Six-Core Processor (3.50 GHz)
    * 8 GB RAM
    * Win8 64-bit
    * GeForce GTX 750 Ti Superclocked 2GB (installed myself after the NVIDIA GeForce GT 720 1GB proved insufficient)
Lately when I play Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline, the system will often crash. Here's a screenshot of the numbers after 30 minutes of gameplay: http://i.imgur.com/UHIiMVZ.png

Some people tell me the rig is overheating, while others suggest there's a problem with my PSU. (The new graphics card calls for a 300w PSU or better, and mine is 500w.)

I have the box in an open space with plenty of room for ventilation. Even though it's only 6 months old, I opened it up and cleaned out the small amount of dust that was in there -- no change in the problem.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or guidance you can offer.

A 500W PSU should be sufficient to power your system so that shouldn't be the issue, just for reference could you tell me what brand it is?

Also it doesn't seem like your CPU is overheating, but to double check you coul try a stress test such as Aida64 as well.

another thing is that you should make sure all of your video drivers are up to date and that your windows is updated.

The PC is a CyberPowerPC 2140.

All of my drivers -- and Windows itself -- are up to date. I ran a Windows Defender full scan yesterday, and it returned no problems.
