Hi i'm new to overclocking so just want a simple guide to overclocking my CPU.

PC spec:

CPU : AMD FX-8350 black edition
GPU : Asus strix GTX970 4GB DDR5
Motherboard : ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z AM3+
Cooler : Noctua NH-D15
Ram : Kingston HyperX FURY 16GB1866MHz CL10
Fans : 7 Nzxt Led fan 140mm + 2 Noctua fan 140mm 2000rpm
SSD : Samsung ssd 850 Evo 1TB
HDD : Seagate 1TB 7200rpm
Nxzt fan controller
PSU : Evga supernova 1000w 80 plus gold certificate
Monitor : ASUS PB278Q 27-Inch WQHD LED-lit Professional
System: Windows 8.1 64bit + Arch Linux
Case: Nzxt switch 810 full tower case

these are the settings i did in BIOS:
i tried overclock CPU to 4.7
volt: 1.44v
also i disable these options ( cool 'n' quite + cle + svm )
CPU ratio: 20.0
CPU bus frequency: 235
AMD turbo: disable
CPU/nb frequency: 2200
ht link speed: 2600
CPU spread: disable
xtream tweaker: enable
DIGI vrm/power control ( CPU load line calibration: ultra high + CPU/NB load line calibration: high + CPU voltage over current protection: 130% + CPU/NB voltage over current protection: 130%)
CPU manual voltage 1.44v
CPU/NB manual voltage: 1.200000

Temp at normal: 29C
Temp under load using prime95: 64-65C after testing for an hour and i see a notification upon date and time in windows said Warning CPU temp 65.0C, also i have a fan controller for intake fans 5 of them i push them to the top all the time. so is that a safe temperature?

also when i decrease the voltage to 1.4v with 4.7GHz and use prime95 the computer hangs and sometimes i see blue screen, with 1.44 it's OK.

Another Q is there a difference between my cooler and corsair h100i?
Any advice would be most welcome!

Well, you did everything very well. It's quite obvious that it's going to freeze, and AMD CPU requires a huge voltage lift. That cooler won't be enough for that overclock, and yes the Hi100 might be a bit better than NH-D15, but the performance is very similar.
