Ever since i got this motherboard the ram seems to not be working I've tried that thing in the ms config where you uncheck the value and this doesn't work I've been trying to figure this out for 5 months now and I;m starting to just give up on this, please help

What OS are you using 32 or 64bit? (need 64bit for more than 4GB) What CPU? What model # or model#s of the DRAM

Ill have to check what the ram is but i know the basics of it 1333mhz 4x2gb, Windows 8.1 64bit, FX- 8300

Try two sticks in slots 1,2 - if they work and show 4GB , next move them to 3,4 and see if they work and let us know results of both ways

Ive tried 3,4 and 2 and 4 but not 1 and 2, CPU fan is evo 212 (pretty big) so it covers up slot one but ill try it but with the other 3 slots theres been no success

With the EVO simply remove the fan (it just clips on then put it back just slightly above the stick in slot 1
