Turning off computer with power supply switch?

If I use the power supply switch on the back of my computer to turn off the computer, could that damage the computer or the software in any way? I have a RAIDMAX Vampire RX-700GH 700watt power supply. Thank you

That cuts all power to the system instantly, it would be the same as unplugging a computer that was in use.
You could likely do it without damage, however I dont recommend it.

Just use the shutdown button so windows can do its thing.
