Could SLI 970's run Witcher 3 on ultra settings with constant 60 FPS or better? Have a 1920x1080 144hz monitor and I was thinking of upgrading to SLI 970's but I want to be able to run the Witcher 3 at ultra setting with 60 FPS because I've heard it looks stunning!!

Solution
If you watch this benchmark video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFTz1Js6FHg), the dual 970's running at 1080p get an average of about 75-80 FPS on ultra settings using the MSI brand 970's along with an i7-4790k overclocked to 4.7GHz, so you should definitely be about to get a constant 60 FPS in Witcher 3 as long as your CPU is not bottle-necking the cards.

Hairworks that was the first thing I disabled, along with the typical tweaking of Shadows and AA, I think I lost damn near 20 FPS with it on. I'm dipping to around 45 FPS on intense scenes. I would Imagine 970 SLI or one 980 would easily Max all settings and hold 60+ fps.

Yes, that is why the average is only 75-80Fps. With those off, you could be getting anywhere from 90-120Fps average depending on how lucky you got in the GPU lottery.

How do you tweak AA settings? Through config files? Cuz in-game it just has on or off and i dont even know what kind of AA it runs on when its on

As far as I know, there is no way to tweak the AA settings, but if you have it set to on, you should be just fine.
