Will this build be able to play games on Med-High for the next 6-7 years?

So I am planning on building a PC and currently this is what I've narrowed down the parts to-

GPU- Sapphire AMD/ATI Radeon R9 290 TRI-X OC 4 GB DDR5
CPU- AMD FX 8350 Black Edition
Mobo- Asrock H97 Anniversary Mobo
Storage- Western Digital 1TB
RAM- GSkill Ripjaws X 8GB Ram stick
PSU- Not sure. Would appreciate if someone could let me know what my power requirement will be like
Case- Cooler Master K21 Mid Tower

Currently that is what I have in mind. I would like to know if this is a decent build for the price and if there are any better parts for the same price.

If you are getting an R9-290 you want to go with the i5-4690K or even a i7-4790K.

You are better off listing your budget and looking or system suggestions in the systems part of the forums. You can do a search based on how much you can spend and get quite a bit of suggestions.

First off that other poster is correct you listed a intel mother board with a AMD CPU. You can try the Gigabyte 990 fxa ud3 which has dropped in price substantially it $100 rite now. When you build there is no such thing as future proofing but you can build a rig that fare well over time. This why I suggest investing in 290x its only like $50 extra bucks but it has an increased processing power over the 290.
AM I reading that rite 8GB ram stick you did not get the kit. Try going with the kit that way you get dual channel read and writes to memory.
I know system requirements kuz I have one 290 is and 290x is the same 750 WATT . SO 800 WATT or above if you are not doing OC that would be ok

And I would Like any body to show me a graphics card from 2011 or 2010 that runs any modern game at high fluidly. Name one please
