clone to ext hd via usb not bootable

Hi, I have used macrium reflect free to clone my current ssd 64gb onto an external usd disk. however the disk size of my c drive shows 1.5gb less in the cloned drive. the ext disk is not not booting. I am cloning in the perspective to reclone my new internal ssd drive. I am using a tablet on win 7 home and do not have access to dvd drive.

Hey, Thanks for the info. will do that. But how do I clone the SSD directly if the macrium reflect does not seem to be working on the external HD? The steps I followed was:
(1) clean the external HD using diskpart
(2) open macrium reflect and drag all partitions on the external HD
Something I missed?
