Solution
Your HDD is most probably failing. So, you need to save your most important data(movies, pics, songs, games, etc.) on another drive(external), USB flash drive, cloud or somewhere else. That way, you will not lose this data in case your HDD fails.
After that, you can use some HDD testing software program. Check this out: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/282651-32-best-diagnostic-testing-utility
You can also run Disk Check(I have provided a link on how to do that in the previous post).

Hi there Win7User512,

Most probably, there is something wrong with your HDD. This is why, you need to back up all the important data stored on the drive as soon as possible.
After that, you can test the drive with a brand specific(or a third party one) testing tool. The results should provide a S.M.A.R.T. report that will show the health status of the drive. In case the tests fail, then you will need to replace the drive.
You can run Disk Check as well: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/433-disk-check.html

Hope this will help,
