Solution
This might be around as cheap as you could go for an i5 system, around $80 over budget. Would perform quite a bit better than the athlon but if you're limited on funds it's not a great solution. Why 16gb of ram? 8gb is plenty for most tasks, some money saved there. Unless you're set on that case, I wouldn't be spending $75 on a case with such a tight budget, or blowing $55 on a cooler in that same restrictive budget. Just my opinion. I think you'd be a lot happier with the i5 system but that's just me.
