Hi Guys,

I'm considering upgrading my GFX card and wanted opinions on whether my system would be too bottlenecked to make it worthwhile.

Current specs:

CPU: i5 3570K
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3-ISSD
RAM: Corsair Memory Vengeance Red 8GB DDR3
PSU: Corsair 650W
Monitor: BenQ 24"
GFX card: EVGA 670 GTX

I was considering moving to a 970GTX.

Thanks in advance.

its not the best PSU in the world, but its better than something like the CX series Supplies.

Looks like your system ticks all the right boxes, and the PSU is plenty good enough for years of work, so that's no issue either.
If you're in USA/Canada EVGA have top class warranty and service and I think XFX still offer a lifetime warranty (DON'T forget to register though! ;) ) although there aftercare isn't up to the gold standard set by EVGA.
