Need an Advice for a CPU upgrade

So like the title says im thinking on getting a new CPU. My current one is a i5 2400. Wich one should I get? I dont mind if i have to change my botherboard.

I mostly use my pc for gaming.

Current build:
Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Pro4
GPU: Gigabyte G1 GTX970
CPU: Intel i5-2400
RAM: 12GB DDR3 1333Mhz
PSU: Corsair CX600W

No need to upgrade your platform if you don't want to the 3570K is a good chip still. That's brand new. You can find one cheaper on ebay.

That seller has 100% feedback. You can't spend a better $161, it will hardly bottleneck your 970 if at all.

But wont the new MB use DDR4 memory?

The 1150 socket is DDR3, and has the two broadwell CPU's coming. Then 1151 will come out and support DDR3L and DDR4
