I have been looking for an AIO water cooler for my new PC build. The best one i have seen so far is the Corsair H100i 240mm (http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Extreme-Performance-Liquid-Cooler/dp/B009ZN2NH6/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1432137456&sr=8-2&keywords=corsair+h100i)

Is this a good one for the value? how does it stack against other similarly priced ones?
Also, because my MOBO has a limited amount of fan headers, i would prefer one that uses a Molex or ESata connector (like the h100i does) and only uses the CPU fan header.
Thank you for reading this.

There's a new version of the h100i, the h100i GTX, which I'm partial to because of the build quality. Any route you go, however, you should replace the fans (I'm partial to Noctua), and connect the fans to the MOBO's CPU PWM connection rather than the pump.

There are 3/4 pin Y cables you can buy online and higher fidelity fans tend to come with cables supplied.

Disagree. All those asetek AIO (like the corsairs) are similar. Even with high rpm fans they perform barely better than top air coolers at the expense of added noise, added cost, reduced reliability, aditional risk of disaster,...

Putting low rpm noctua fans will decrease performance to on par or below top end air coolers like NH-D14/15.

There is only 1 valid reason to buy asetek AIO and thats aesthetics.

What i can recommend though is swiftech H220-x or H240-x. That is a completely different story: all copper rad, decent pump, top waterblock,... That or a decent air cooler!
