That is not a good choice for a $2000 computer for gaming, it is extremely CPU heavy and would be better used as a video editing or rendering computer, not a gaming rig.

I will go into some detail about why it's a bad choice.

The CPU is a 6-core i7 which is unnecessary for gaming, for gaming, the i5 4690k is the best for it and the i7 4790k is probably the highest I would go if needed because most games don't utilize more than 4 cores.

The only time you would need 64gb of ram is very intense work in professional applications or things like video editing and rendering as I said before. For gaming, you need no more than 8gb of ram.

The GPU is the weakest part of this computer, yet the GPU should always be one of the more powerful...

Anyways, this is not a good bang for the buck for what your nephew is using it for which is primarily gaming, if you want to get a prebuilt computer I would look for one more along the lines of this: http://www.neweggbusiness.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9B-83-229-615&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleBiz-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleBiz-PC-_-pla-_-Desktop+Computers-_-9B-83-229-615&gclid=Cj0KEQjw4fCqBRDM1ZKhk5jfo6IBEiQAZQ97OItmEnWGqY_2vo06u6aZ-1yajpfBoRZZfDTFzD-H8-oaAvCO8P8HAQ

Of course going directly to a website such as cyberpowerpc.com would allow you to configure a system yourself to get the most for your money.

*edit*: looking at the costco website, the next best thing would be this one: http://www.costco.com/CyberpowerPC-Desktop-%7c-Intel-Core-i7-%7c-Windows-7-Professional.product.100172432.html

however it doesn't come included with a GPU or a good enough Power Supply so if you wouldn't mind buying those at your local electronics store and installing them yourself that would be a much better buy.
