I am new to PCs but the A10 APU is cooled by a CM Seidon 120M water-cooler. Can I further overclock the APU? Am I losing a lot of performance from the GPU because of the APU holding it back? I currently can't upgrade because I have a FM2+ motherboard and I can not buy a new MOBO and CPU at the moment.
I have an Asus Directcu II R9 290 and a A-10 7850k CPU @ 4.4GHz.

Yes that apu will hold that gpu back by quite a bit but it surely can be overclocked just don't expect miracles

Compared to an i5 or higher in heavy single core games a lot but in games that use cores well probably not as bad
