Installing Windows 8.1 onto a fresh build, using a Mac

OK so I just finished my first build... everything is up and running except for the OS. Instead of using an optical drive I am attempting to use a bootable USB to put the new OS on the fresh build. I bought and downloaded 8.1 from the microsoft store expecting to be given an ISO but was instead given an EXE. I don't know what to do from here to get an ISO out of this, any help would be appreaciated. Yet again, I've never done this before so try and not get too technical on me. Also, if there is another way to do this without using an ISO or whatever then please let me know.

P.S. - I already have the product key, as I bought it from Microsoft

Pretty sure you can't do that from a Mac.

Find a Windows PC, of the proper bit level (32bit or 64bit), run the Exe, and it should give you the option to create an ISO. You use that ISO to generate a DVD or USB.
