How to install a .INF file?

I have an MSI 970 GAMING board with a Killer network adapter in it.
http://www.msi.com/product/mb/970-GAMING.html#hero-overview
There are two files available for the LAN driver;
1) Killer Network Driver
2) Killer Network Driver (driver only)

I want to install just the driver and not the Killer Network Manager package. But the "driver only" file is a .INF file. When I try to install it, I get the error message "The INF file you selected does not support this method of installation". Any idea how it is intended to be installed?

Yeah, I know that. But when you right-click on it, you get the "install" option in the context-sensitive menu. How is one expected to "manually" install that file as the MSI web page says? Quote:
1. For Killer Onboard LAN driver without Killer Network Manager.
2. Killer Onboard Lan driver Inf file need to be install manually.

Same problem here...
for an old device "CannonScan 630u "

I got the Inf but no way to install in W7.

Same Error message appear.....

Any Idea please ?

You need more than just the INF file for the driver, you actually need the driver file. See if Cannon support has it.

I have the full driver with 2 CAB but the problem seems to be the INF

When I use "have a disk" it accept it . but no devices shows up !!!

BTW: when I open "Scanner and Camera", Windows show me the Cannonscan. I can see it as well in Device Manager.

That's it .. all the other piece of Windows doesn't see it.
