Got a new SSD, disconnected my HDDs, booted from windows 8.1 64bit disk, installed windows, success.

Go to install important updates and I get to 42% and it crashes to blue screen saying :"BAD POOL HEADER" read some threads that a restart sometimes fixes it.

Restart, re try this time get blue screen with "MEMORY MANAGEMENT"

Whats up? Is my OS installation corrupt? Drive bad? My system was previous working just fine. \

Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there, 1MB!

It seems like it has something to do with the RAM or check for firmware update on your SSD. I'd recommend running memtest and checking the memory sticks.
Here's a tutorial that explains how to test the memory: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/faq/id-1906201/test-memory-memtest.html
I'd also suggest to take a look at this thread: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2194559/solved-bad-pool-header-bsod-error-startup.html

If that doesn't help and everything with the RAM is okay, you should check the SSD manufacturer's website for any firmware updates.

Hope this works! :)
