cant conect laptop to wifi and it makes the network "limited"

My two roommates can conect just fine to our wifi and i can also conect with my phone but when i try with my asus g771 i can stay conected for about 10 seconds then it makes the whole network go "limited". I know it sounds stupid but ove been having this problem for about 2 days and i need internet acces for uni
 
Solution
go into the network and sharing center. then navigate to manage wireless networks, then delete your wireless connection to the room wifi.

next go to the device manager, locate your wireless network card and uninstall it. (when windows prompts you, don't delete the driver)

now reboot your pc, connect your laptop physically to the router and let windows install the wireless network card again

now disconnect your laptop form the router, and reconnect to your room's wireless, see if the issue goes away.

If it does not i would run a virus scan with malwarebytes, and see if you're infected with anything, otherwise it could be a physical problem with your wifi antenna (which is easy to discover, do you get solid connection when you're...
