And even if he could, the result would be awfully slow and not worth the effort. A R7 240 should be as fast or faster than the "impossible R5 230 Crossfire" combo and not much more expensive. In my country, a R5 230 sells for 42 Euro and the R7 240 for 70 Euro. And for 90 euro one could buy R7 250 which is a pretty decent entry-level graphics card.
