So, i have a custom built computer that is connected to a router with a wire that i crimped and checked. Whenever im playing a game such as LoL or GTA V, my internet connection will consistently disconnect every 5-10 minutes for around 10 seconds. It will reconnect on it's own, but will disconnect again afterwards. The network icon shows the red disconnected wire thing, and the computer acts as if no wire is connected until it reconnects. I've updated my LAN adapter, reinstalled it, i've power-cycled my router but nothing is working for me so far. I should also mention that this apparently only happens when im doing stuff, when the system is idle the icon is always normal. Suggestions?
