If you aren't sure and want to expand you might want to look into one of these.

GF's Dad has two. Very nice. Just add in another drive later on and it just expands it for you.
Otherwise you will most likely need a Good RAID Card in your PC that allows you to expand a RAID 5 and they aren't too cheap.
