Build worked fine with a GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 previously. Installed the new board last night and got a constant VGA led. Tested with a 550ti and I can get into BIOS.

Tried different slots with the 280x. Reseated everything. I'm at a loss here. Even tried student psu cables.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I wasn't clear I think. Hit the power button, everything lights and spins up. No video. VGA led is lit.

No, no fresh install on Windows at the moment. I could try that with the old video card when I get home later, but the issue currently is the VGA led problem.

I'm wondering about my PSU AT the moment. It's technically under powered for the 280x, but as I said, the previous build has been working mostly flawlessly (random lockups asks having to power down for awhile before using again... different issue).
