I got the used HD 7850 2GB OC last week for 140$ and was quiet excited about playing latest titles on 1024x768 screen resolution on my Dell E773C CRT Monitor.........

My Rig:

Acer EQ45T-AM Mobo
Q6600 22.4Ghz
6GB RAM DDR3 1333Mhz 10700H Trenscend Technology RAM
400watt PSU (I forgot the Brand name but its not famous one)

But when I got that card, it made me very dissapointed......

I started playing Assassins Creed Unity (At that time I had 4GB of RAM). At first, In the memory of "Jauque De Mole", the game run fluently throughout (everything on ultra high; MSAAx8; HBAO+) etc....
But In the city of paris the game hacked very much........Then even at the lowest settings; the game hacked........

same with other games like Watch Dogs; lagging even at lowest settings????????

1) Is my GPU giving up??????

2) And should I try (exchange) this card with Twins Frozen GTX 560 Super clocked?

Solution
Yes its works to some extend but it would be nowhere near the performance of current generation quad core CPUs like Core i5. But still it can give you a good boost in performance. But before you go with the CPU upgrade ensure that your particular mobo is compatible with the Q9650 CPU. Since you PC seems like a branded pc manufactured by Acer with their own customized BIOS. I am not sure the Q9650 is fully compatible with your system. You may ask customer support of Acer regarding the upgrade feasibility.

The best solution would be a complete upgrade the system. It costs you some money but would be worth it.

One Of my friend told me the same to upgrade the CPU.......

Is upgrading to Q9650 @3.0Ghz worth?
(1333Mhz FSB) (12MB L2 Cache)

Upgrading to 3.0 Quad will cost me extra 50$.......
