Computer resets when using integrated Intel HD graphics

So, I just upgraded my rig from an AMD phenom II 1045T to a Intel i7 4790k and I replaced my Asrock Extreme 3 with an Asrock z97 Extreme 4. I have an Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 installed. Everything seemed to be going great till I needed to connect to integrated on board graphics rather than my GPU (its a long story that involves another computer that doesn't have on board graphics). Either way, I uninstalled my old GPU's drivers, powered the computer down, removed the card, and plugged into the on board graphics. I went into the BIOS and set the Chipset to load integrated GPU rather than PCI GPU. Now, the computer turns on, goes to the Asrock splash screen, goes to a black blinking cursor and resets. This is like a 7-8 second process. Just continuously resets over and over. I put the GPU back in and hooked up to that and the computer boots fine and seems to be working, its only on integrated graphics that I have this issue. I believe the motherboard to be bad, but I wanted to see what you all had to say first to be sure I wasn't missing something.

Solution
That motherboard enables IGPU Multi-Monitor by default {page 80 of manual)
Select disable to disable the integrated graphics when an external graphics card is
installed. Select enable to keep the integrated graphics enabled at all times.

You shouldn't need to uninstall any graphics driver.

You may want to clear the CMOS and start your software installation over again.

Hmm... I don't know if there was confusion on your part or mine. The issue is in the BIOS, integrated graphics is turned on, yet, when I plug into the HDMI on the mother board, it just resets over and over again. I have cleared my CMOS multiple times during troubleshooting.

Got my motherboard replaced and still no difference. I guess its possible that its the CPU. Anyone else have any suggestions on what might be causing this issue?

Try: 1. setting Primary Graphics Adapter to PCI Express (I know you've pulled your card and want to boot from the integrated graphics - I boot like this with no card on my extreme6);
2. check other settings (e.g. intel smart connect disable, rapid start disable, ... you may need to experiment).
3. save and exit => boot ...

Good luck.
