So my Power Supply died on me after a month for reasons that are unclear. I was plugging it into an extension hub, could that be it? It said it was grounded...Maybe my PSU didn't have enough watts for my rig?
Here is my rig:
GTX 970 (MSI Gaming)
Asus Z97-A motherboard
i5-4690k (no overclock)
G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2x4 GB)
Corsair 200r Case
My power supply was the XFX TS 550W PSU, a well-trusted brand in XFX and 80+ Bronze. I was told this was enough for what I have above by people on tomshardware. Is it, though? Should I go up? I can RMA and get the same 550W PSU or I can just go buy a new one. What do you guys suggest? I want a very reliable PSU. I thought I was getting that with my XFX TS. This is extremely frustrating.
