Hi all,
7 months ago, I posted this asking if my build was good. After some advice and revisions, it was perfect for what I wanted. It is 7 months later, the prices have come down, and I want to pull the trigger this week on ordering it. Basically, I want to know if it is perfect still. Technology moves so fast, and I just want to know if I'm making any stupid decisions. For example, I'm going with Haswell-E and X99 and DDR4, cause I figure this will future-proof me enough if I need to upgrade in the future. But I also don't want to end up with a socket that busts and ends up being abandoned.

Some bullet points that come to mind:
- I chose a GTX 970 because the benchmarks didn't show much real-world improvement over a 980, so the price-performance ratio is way better. Also, from what I hear, NVidia still edges out AMD in graphics cards. I figure I can just get another 970 a little bit down the line and have a really powerful machine. However, in terms of which brands to go for with graphics cards, I'm always lost.
Same goes for the motherboard.. I chose a compatible one with a good amount of USB 3.0 ports. I have used ASUS and ASRock in the past, so I trust those, but am open to suggestion.
I chose 16 GB of RAM because I wasn't sure if 32 was overkill, but I am really debating whether or not I should just go for 32.
Also not sure if I should pay the premium for the Samsung SSDs, or if I won't notice a difference with the Crucial. If paying a premium for a Samsung Pro isn't worth it, I figure could spring for a 512 instead of 256.
Should I go liquid cooling? If so, any good recommendations on a liquid cooler? It would be my first time going that route.
