I have a Toshiba satellite p500 1dz which has an i7 720 QM.
I found these 8gb sticks of 1066 ram which would give me 16 gigs of goodness.
However the Toshiba specs and Intel arc both say the Max is 8gb.
Will the 16gb work? Is it only listed as a Max of 8gb because 8gb sticks of 1066 were not available when the laptop/processor were manufactured?
