Yesterday I updated my Bios to version F9 (from F5) and things seem normal for the most part, temps are okay, cpu usage seems normal, etc etc. But once I get into some games (Heroes of the Storm for example) my FPS is lower than it used to be. On games I'd get 60+ fps, now seem to tank to 40-50, it's odd. Games that rely more on my CPU seem to run okay, Counter Strike: Global Offensive being one of them, but even in that I've gone from 200+ fps to 100-200ish which is still obviously okay and I don't notice it but.. I still shouldn't be dropping like this.

I've done a clean install of my GPU drivers, no dice. Made sure temps are okay. Scanned for Viruses/Malware once more.

I'm kind of lost as to what to do next, please help.

Solution
The timing you list above is wrong. The correct timing is right there on the newegg page of the memory, 9-9-9-24. I was unable to find any info on a MB with the "CF" at the end of the model number. But am pretty sure that you should boot into BIOS, set optimized defaults, then enable XMP, then Profile1 and the memory should be set correctly. Also, set up anything else that needs to be set depending on your system---the save and exit.
After a BIOS update or even just a clearing of the BIOS, you need to boot into the BIOS and set it all up correctly starting with setting optimized defaults then the memory speed & timings and what ever else needs to be set depending on your system. Then save settings and boot.

Oh, right, I forgot to mention I loaded optimized defaults...

speed and timing are the same they've always been, I believe, I don't OC so I'm not very certain as to what they should be to begin with, never messed with that stuff...

As an update: I uninstalled what drivers were in add/remove programs and reinstalled things from the CD with reboots of course, doesn't seem to have changed anything.

Sorry, speccy has it listed like that for some reason.

This is my Mobo, please tell me anything else you think I should do before I go tinkering with the Bios, thank you for all of the help so far!

Update: I'll be damned, that seems to have fixed it. I'm not entirely certain until I test different games but the one I had prime issues with is now back to a stable 60+fps it seems.

If I encounter any other issues I'll make a new thread but for now, thank you so much!
