Hello guys, I recently upgraded my computer in order to 'raid' in wow and I'm disappointed with the results. My build is the next one:
Fx 8350 @ 4.6 oc
Motherboard msi 970 gaming
Msi r9 270x gpu
2x4 gb Kingston hyper X blue ram
1 ssd 120gb
1 500 gb normal hdd

I was expecting to raid with ultra settings with at least 40fps + and I'm doing 20 man mythic raiding with 35 fps with between fair and good settings. When fighting.

The problem is that I don't know which compenent is holding me back and I'm getting to the point where I want to sell everything so I'm here for some advice.

Thank you for your help!

GPU is fine .4690k is a great CPU, maybe overkill for WoW though, it's also much stronger than your GPU, but you can upgrade your GPU later and not be held back by your CPU.

You'll want a Z97 chipset board to go with the CPU, as you can't overclock it without a z97 board, and if you don't want to overclock get another i5-4### without a K at the end, and an h97 board.
You WILL have to reinstall windows though, bewarned. Windows sees motherboards as the computer, so if you get a new one, it says it's a new computer and thinks you're trying to pirate windows, also there are certain...

Finally got some money for the 4690k but the mobo you suggested is not available in my country is any of this a good option?

Gigabyte GA-B85-HD3 DDR3 1600 LGA 1150 B85 HDMI ATX Tarjeta Madre con UEFI BIOS ATX

Gigabyte GA-B85M-D3H motherboard - Placa base (DDR3-SDRAM, DIMM, Dual, Intel, Celeron, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, Pentium, Socket H3 (LGA 1150))

I'm kind of low on money since I haven't been able to sell the fx 8350 and its mobo.

That motherboard will "work" with the 4690k BUT you'll lose out on the K part of it, which is the ability to overclock (and the extra money you spent for that option). Look for a motherboard with z97 in it's model.

The Asus one is better at overclocking but also more expensive because it's better. But the differences between them aren't that significant. Just decided whether you want to spend more money or not.

They both can OC, the Asus can do it just a little bit better is all.

The MSI h81 CAN'T OC. only Z-series motherboards can (z87,z97)
OCing is kind of a hassle to deal with though, and you may enjoy the easier experience (and lower price) the MSI h81 and i5-4440

H81 may not work with 4690k out of the box without a BIOS update, but you need a compatible Intel CPU to do that.

I already have the 4690k tho and I've overclocked before but I don't know if it's worth to spend the extra on the Asus or if you know another option that might be better for my money.

The 4690k doesn't need that heavy of an overclock (or even one at all) and both motherboards should be able to achieve a 4.0ghz OC without issue (all you should need)

You can read through this to see how motherboards perform with the CPU:
http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/i5-4690k-overclock-comparison-and-poll.209112/

(though not all CPUs are made the same and thus there are those who can OC way higher than others)
