I'm trying to run a Star Wars: Republic Commando server from my VPS but I'm having a issue. The server runs fine from my computer (Windows 7) with the same exact files but when I try to run it from my VPS it gives me the error "SWRepublicCommando.exe has stopped working". At first I thought it was a upload error but even after installing the game using a ISO file on my VPS it still does it. The server also has to be ran from a batch file in order to start it. Is it possible that Windows Server 2008 is blocking the exe or batch file? When I right click both and go into properties I see no "unblock" option if it was being blocked. Also the firewall is turned off.
