H70 CPU water cooler has stopped working?

• I have replaced it with a heatsink from another computer and everything works just dandy, so I am certain it is at fault.

• CPU gets very hot under it, PC shuts off shortly after. It isn't cooling crap.

•I dont believe the hoses can be removed, so I cant check them or refill it?

• I dont hear any water in it, but dont recall ever hearing water.

• It is not under warranty, it was given to me by a friend who upgraded. I estimate it to be about a year and a half old.

Any suggestions on how to fix it would be appreciated. Thanks!
 
Solution
if the fan on the radiator is still going, then most likely the pump went out. There's long shots for other issues, but truth be told it's time to use your old air cooler until you find a replacement. I'm sure there's places where you can buy parts or "how-tos" on fixing stuff. But with the price of those coolers, and the price of what a bad cooler can break... it's time to buy a new cooler.
