Hello people, my computer is getting black screen and random shut down while I am playing games. This is an issue I have had since last year and I have been going through so much troubleshooting.
Here are the current specs at the moment.
- ]Intel(R) Core i5-3350P CPU @ 3.10GHz
- 16.0 GB (Ram)
- AMD Radeon R7 200 Series (NEW)
- PSU 550 Watts
As I stated before this was a reoccurring issue which I thought I solved by replacing the video card and reinstalling the OS (Windows 8). That was a month ago and the problem returned again.
It isnt a faulty PSU because I replaced the previous 350W with the 550W.
It isn't ventilation because I used an additional fan and left the cast open for cooling.
It isn't the RAM because I ran mem test and made sure it wasn't messed up.
The OS shouldn't be corrupted because it was just recently reinstalled a month ago.
I thought it was possible that is was a problem with the video card but I replaced that as well which was previously a NVIDEA GT 640 card.
Basically, I have no idea what the problem could possibly be at this point. Im at my wits end. Is it the motherboard thats the problem? Or the hard drive? Someone help please.
The black screen occurs when I am playing League of Legends or CS:GO, the restart happened just a few hours ago 1 time so thats a new one for me.
