HELP ME FAST PLEASE temp problem

I just put together new computer, i go check temps on hwmonitor and it says 108c on motherboard wtf.. All other temps are normal. Motherboard: h81 gamer asus

Plainly a wrong reading - ignore it - it would have been on fire now if that was right.

Use Asus own monitoring software from the driver cd - 3rd party programs are notoriously unreliable - especially hwmonitor.

It probably the temp software is reading it wrong. Try this one: http://openhardwaremonitor.org/

OR you can check in your bios for what the temps are.

Ive downloaded and i still get strange temps, tem 2,4,5,6 are 100c wtf..

Ive downloaded speedfan and it says:

auxtin1:99
Auxtin2:97
Auxtin3:96
Auxtin0:32
System:105

But only my gpu is hot if u touch anything on MB its not hot at all

Just must be bad software reads... you would have a failure by now. Check in the bios.

Is that temp for that square heatsink? Beacuse my gpu is touching it? and its old gpu 4870 and its running at 60c, could this be a problem? Could it destroy my motherboard?

Use the Asus monitoring software from the disk !!!!!

Or just check temps in bios as the other guy suggested.
