why will my pny xlr8 1600mhz 8gb RAM not work in my GIGABYTE GA-F2A68HM-H motherboard?

Solution
yes. back in the day(ahem)...as long as the motherboard says it can handle a certain frequency of memory (ie compatible with DDR 333Mhz) it doesnt matter which brand it is...it will run, only now it seems they test individual memory for compatibility and stability. it could still run as long as your mobo support 1600Mhz. but as for stability...that another issue.

I did that. Its not on the list. However I purchased these together in a barebone kit from a reputable dealer. Would they really sell me components that are not compatible?
