I used a core 2 duo htpc for a few years and didn't run into problems until window 8.1 (ran fine on windows 8). Unless there is more to what you say you are trying to do, £600 is way more than is needed. If I were you I would take some of that gpu and ram money and invest in a more htpc friendly case. A case which looks good in a tv console. The APU alone can run UHD and the mobo has hdmi so unless you are planning on doing more there is no need for gpu. Also after numerous recommendations and my own experience there isn't a need for that much ram.

I am pretty sure the AMD comes with a stock cooler and paste. I don't know why you would need to buy one. You aren't overclocking for your needs.

I just went through the same process over the last week and ended up spending less than $300 (us).

I am most certain buffering would be a factor of internet speed not hardware. That mobo supports gigabit internet. As long as you are hardwired with a good internet package buffering will be as good as any other computer.

That's a prebuilt mate ??
Its nonsensical as a build component wise ,an apu paired with a discrete GPU ?? A p**s poor quality PSU ,ram that's not going to drag decent performance from the cpu side of things ,a substandard case - give it a miss is my advice.

Where are you based ??
You can get substantially better for less money.
