Well I'm not looking to spend a ton of money on my PC. I'm not super into PC gaming, but I want something to get the job done and run quietly

I also only have a 450 watt psu and a mid-size atx case. Sometimes my case fan revs up when playing games or running a few applications. It only does it for a brief period of time but it's super annoying. So I was thinking the GTX 750 TI would make room for more airflow and it would just produce less heat

I have used the GTX 750 Ti (consuming 75 W max) for one year, until I upgraded to another card. It is very silent, stays cool and doesn't use much power. My PSU is 400 W Gold rated. I even run my pc (until I get a better one) with a GTX 970 (consuming 145 W max) on that PSU and it works well.

On the other side, these comparisons shows the 750 Ti is not much better than the 560:

I wouldn't buy it as an upgrade.
