If someone could be generous enough to find me a graphics card that is compatible with what iv'e got (also anything under $500 would be great if possible). this is the motherboard i have: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4305#ov (if more information is needed to find a compatible one let me know and ill post what it is you need to know) Thanks to anyone who helps!

and if your willing to give up the pci-1 slot that is under the PCI 16 slot,..a lot of card will take up two slots and that one will get covered,.
Also,..how much money do you want to spend?
Also,..are you planning to game ?

Sorry its taken me so long to get back, currently my max budget would be nothing above 800$, and my current processor is the AMD FX 4300 Quad Core ( http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=AMD+FX-4300+Quad-Core ) And my power supply is ATX 300W Switching Power Supply ( http://www.pcworld.com/product/pg/674388/detail ) And if it helps, perhaps gives a base of what my standards are, this is my current Graphics card: The MSI N610GT-MD1GD3/LP GeForce GT 610 1GB 64-Bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127692 ) Thanks so much for all your help

So you're looking into a new PSU and graphics card for under 800? or mobo and CPU are also included in the 800?

not sure what mobo is, but I'm looking mainly to just get the best graphics card possible with what components i already have. I've not got much money to be upgrading anything else, and its really just the graphics card that's falling behind in performance. If Power supply upgrade is necessary than i may consider, but if i can avoid it that would be better, and yes under $800, thanks.

Mobo means motherboard LOL. If you've got 800$ for a new PSU and graphics, we can do very well.
Assuming Your motherboard will have two PCI-e slots, we will upgrade the PSU to a 750 Watts 80+ gold efficient modular one and 2x r9 290x.

Buying a GPU worth 500$ would just be bottlenecking you cpu and in some extreme cases you could find that the gt610 outperforms the 500$ beast because your CPU doesn't know how to utilize it efficiently. If you really have 800$ budget i'd suggest upgrading your CPU to atleast FX8350(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113284).Your motherboard is compatible with the FX series once you update your BIOS(can be done over the internet on Gigabyte's website) and most modern mid-to-high end video cards are compatible.

And it's hard to suggest you any card without knowing at what resolution you'd be gaming at(1080p or 4k) and what games you are interested in.
But assuming you want to play games like Crysis 3 and Witcher 3 at 1080p(most gamers use that) then i suggest you go for an R9 290(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202143&cm_re=r9_290-_-14-202-143-_-Product)

And a 700W PSU that is Crossfire-ready(you can run two video cards)-http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817256105&cm_re=700w-_-17-256-105-_-Product

So 170$ + 280$ + 110$=560$
