Howdy!

So, I have no idea whats wrong with my system. I thought it might be software, but I'm now thinking its hardware and most likely my Motherboard.

When I try to install Windows, or any type of Linux, it will load the disk/image/iso/flashdrive or whatever type of media it is on, but it will always feeze. Windows will freeze while loading up, then crash, and then just restart. If its linux, it will just completely freeze and do nothing.

I had the following hardware;

Mobo: MSI AM1 AM1I
CPU: AMD Athlon 5150 Kabini Quad-Core
RAM: G.SKILL ECO Series 4GB (2 x 2GB)
Video Card: Tried with 9800GT and with no video card except the intergrated on CPU
Power: SeaSonic 380W PSU

So, I'm not sure what the issue is. The BIO's is completely up-to-date. Its on factory defaults. I've tried external CD drive, internet on SATA, and no CD drive via Flashdrive to install. I also have a 128GB Seagate SSD drive. It has a old copy of windows on it, which boots fine, I just don't wanna use that image. (Its also corrupt now via all the reboots I been doing.)

So, if anyone has some ideas, that be great. I don't know if maybe I have bad hardware and just need to return it.

Thanks,

I tried it with only one stick of RAM, CPU, and the onboard video. Still has system freeze up, and had graphical errors. If I add a video card, no graphical issues, but then windows will crash and complain about not supporting it. Linux will just plain freeze. I'm at a lose. I have NO idea what is wrong. I dont know what piece of hardware is the issue. i'm about to just send the Mobo, CPU, and maybe even the RAM back to newegg.
