I have a Toshiba Satellite, with Qualcomm Atheros going at 54mbps max, we have a Virgin Media package for 100mbps, we called a technician and he said that I need to upgrade the Qualcomm drive because our max is 54, where as our package is 100mbps, so it is putting more pressure on the connectivity (Sorry for the long speech, I like asking questions with all the details that could come useful.)
Can someone please help as soon as possible, I need like a free 100mbps Qualcomm AR driver that I can download, thanks... :)

use a wired ethernet connection, we would have to know the model of the machine to know how fast your wireless connection could run.
if your wireless connection is running at its fastest speed, you would have to get a better (newer generation) wireless adapter. That is replace the internal wireless network card or use a external USB wireless network adapter.
Note: we would also need to know the make and model of your router, no point in upgrading your machines wireless speed if you are connecting to a old router that does not support the faster wireless speed. (old routers will support a faster wired speed)

google "network speed test" and try one to see what the actual speed you are getting.
often there can be many reasons you are not getting a fast speed. (various routers on the same channel, distance to router,...)
