The title says it all. I'm looking to build a PC that's at 1000 dollar budget and i'd like to see what my options are. I don't need any storage or a CD drive but I do need a screen. So if you could post any recommendations or an actual build i'd appreciate it. This build is only for gaming and I would like to overclock it in the future.

Solution
Here is the build I've constructed. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/profoundnoah/saved/#view=WDh8TW It will cost about 1000 even, or less if you find good deals. Feel free to change the cooler though, as it may lack in extreme overclocks. Keep in mind this does not include the cost of an OS.
I went with the i5 4690k processor because it is overclockable and has great value over the lower quality i7's.
The coolermaster hyper 212 evo offers excellent performance with mild-to-average overclocks.
The MSI Z97 doesnt need an explanation.
Memory is 2 4 Gigabyte sticks of G Skill Ripjaws, purely because better performance than single channel.
At the 250-300 price range, nothing beats the Radeon R9 290, especially on a discount. You will get monster performance out of this card.
The NZXT Phantom 410 is very good looking, has plenty of room for cards, and comes in at only 90 dollars.
The rest is self explanatory.
