So I have a MSI z87 mower motherboard and an i5 Intel CPU with a corsair cx500 pus and a Nvidia GT 650 gpu. I built my pc and when I turns it on all the lights lit up and the fans started. Then I plugged in my keyboard mouse Ethernet etc. then I plugged in my monitors to my GPU. Then I noticed my first problem, nothing showed up on my monitors, and I unplugged my GPU and plugged one of my monitors into my motherboard still no display, second problem my back ports on my mother board aren't working, and I know this cuz i have a gaming keyboard and mouse and they always worked before but they didn't lite up. And there's a wire from the front panel of the case and says 1394 on it but I have know clue where it goes or what I means, I checked the motherboard manual and found nothing. Plz help thanks.

First might check and ensure your 24 pin and 4/8 Pin PSU connetors are firmly attached to the mobo and 6Pin PCI-E power connection is tight
