What upgrade should I prioritize? (PSU or RAM)

So I had a problem with my 7870 lacking performance and it turns out its due to bottle necking. I was told that I needed a PSU and a RAM upgrade. (Refer to this thread for more details) I can only get one of these as of now and I was wondering which upgrade I should invest in first.

Solution
If You wanna upgrade, do it in this order:

1. get extra 4 gigs of DDR3 ram, the same module preferably
2. get new motherboard and procesor [Z97/i5, or H97/i5]
3. get new power supply unit.
Erm, what's Your actual ram? Btw. PSU will definitely not increase the graphics card performance. Only in extremely rare cases, when PSU is loaded on 100%, You can notice some breakdowns in performance, and overall system reactions. But it happened mostly on old computers.

Please, list Your configuration. Actual ram, processor, motherboard, power supply unit and case.

Yeah, I'm planning on upgrading the CPU and the motherboard later on, but as of now should I upgrade the PSU first or the RAM?

I have one more question. For that motherboard upgrade, will I need a new case? I currently have a Rosewill FBM-01
Thanks!
