Hello guys, I was just wondering whether someone could build a budget gaming PC under 800 USD that will run BF4 on Ultra at a minimum of 60 FPS? If so, can you please specify the components and their prices? If not, can you specify the best build for this budget?

(BTW, it would be great if a Giagabyte GM-M6900 could fit in the budget :))

1. Xeon CPU's are meant for servers, not for gaming PC's.
2. R9 290 is not enough for BF4 Ultra 1080p at 60fps, you need a GTX 970/290x.

This is the minimum that you will need for BF4 Ultra 60fps. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/kGNGYJ It's slightly over your budget, but an under-800USD PC just isn't able to play BF4 Ultra 60fps.

Xeon CPU's are fine for gaming, but cannot be overclocked, which is why it's better to get an i5. There's really no reason to choose a Xeon over an i5 if the sole purpose of the PC is for gaming.

Contrary to popular belief, Xeon's are not just server parts.

This certain Xeon is basically an i7 4790 at a slightly lower clockspeed and at a much lower clock speed, With 4 powerful cores split into 8 threads it is one of the best gaming processors on a budget currently present in the market.

And the r9 290 is definitely capable of doing BF4@Ultra w/ FXAA, dozens of benchmarks that prove that.

Gaming is not a synonym for overclocking. Just because some do, does not make it to a rule for all. Xeon is like i7 for the price of an i5, but with hyper threading, no integrated graphics and no overclocking. I have an Xeon and don't overclock and I am fine with Witcher 3 at very high settings.

Don't cheap out on the processor...you'll regret it later on and in other games.

EDIT: I mean mainly AMD right now, the xeon processor good...it's basically an i7 with hyper threading, lower clock speed and with no overclock but it's a pretty powerful little chip.
