I want to change the BIOS splash screen.

I want to change it from showing PC specialist to showing Asus which is my motherboards manufacturer. My motherboard is an Asus sabertooth 990fx r2.0

On the few motherboards I've had that allowed this it was always an option in the BIOS, to use a custom flash screen or the default. When I changed it to something custom, I just followed the instructions from the manufacturers website.

I would pull up the manual for your motherboard, it should have specific instructions on how to do this.

You can only do that if it has an alternate bios as shown on your motherboard webpage - http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/SABERTOOTH_990FXGEN3_R20/HelpDesk_Download/

which it does not.

Can you post a picture of the Logo you'd like to change?
You can use MyLogo in AiSUite.
Take care that MyLogo2 supports 256-color images, 640x480 resolution.

Use Paint or similar for transforming the picture you'd like to use in a 256 bit 640x480 one, otherwise it would not work.

Download the BIOS file from http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/SABERTOOTH_990FX_R20/HelpDesk_Download/
Either the version you're running or a newer one (not an older). Unzip it and save it on Desktop (for example), together with the picture.

Hi Poppadom,

Did you get to sort this out?, I have the exact same issue as my splash screen is "PC Specialists" and I need it to be the default windows start up splash screen.

Any help on how you did it and the software used along with ant instructions would be great, that's if you got it solved.

I suggest leaving it as it is instead of modding the BIOS and possibly bricking the laptop.

Sorry for the late answer but it worked. I used the Asus ai suite to change the picture it was very simple, it's in one of the options.
